Jan is a tax partner with MTK, LLC, and has more than 20 years of experience in corporate, partnership and individual taxation and business consulting. Prior to joining the firm, Jan worked with the tax departments in the Minneapolis offices of Price Waterhouse and Grant Thornton.
Jan focuses his professional interests on comprehensive business and tax planning for closely held and emerging businesses. Jan also focuses on personal financial planning for high net worth individuals based upon a passive asset management approach as well as risk management services. He has experience in numerous industry segments including manufacturing, service and construction. Jan has extensive experience with closely held businesses and related issues, including formation, acquisitions, multi-state issues, and ownership planning.

Interests and Activities
Jan likes to spend his free time outdoors. In the summer, he enjoys boating on the St. Croix River, in Stillwater, bicycling, riding his Harley and shooting sporting clays and the Horse & Hunt Club. In cold weather, he enjoys snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.
